I’m an economist, with additional Specialization in Entrepreneurial Engineering (Marketing) from the Simón Bolívar University (Venezuela), also co-owner of a pasta manufacture. I was working with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, as Consultant and Latin American Liaison.

I took marketing courses in Venezuela and USA, the United Nation’s EMPRETEC workshop, the PAIPYME-TECNOPARQUE (Venezuela) course “Standardization of the levels of previously trained consultants”, and the Junior Chamber International’s coaching courses PRIME and EXCEL.

I'm an economist, with additional Specialization in Entrepreneurial Engineering (Marketing) from the Simón Bolívar University (Venezuela), also co-owner of a pasta manufacture. I was working with the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, as Consultant and Latin American Liaison.

I took marketing courses in Venezuela and USA, the United Nation's EMPRETEC workshop, the PAIPYME-TECNOPARQUE (Venezuela) course "Standardization of the levels of previously trained consultants", and the Junior Chamber International's coaching courses PRIME and EXCEL. I helped elaborate the Small and Medium Enterprise Competitiveness Development Plan of Lara State (Venezuela).

I was also a facilitator for workshops, in Junior Chamber Area C Conferences on Entrepreneurial Creativity and Business Plans (Colombia, Panama and USA); in Business Plan, Motivation and Entrepreneurial Profile; in "How to be a successful Entrepreneur", in "The Successful Entrepreneur's Conditions within the Global Market and the Required Business Plan", in "The five Powers required for Success"; in "Analysis of the Participants' Entrepreneurial Skills, and Business Ideas"; and, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, on "Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies, Entrepreneurship Characteristics and How to Generate Ideas".

I participated in two FUDECO workshops for building a shared vision for development of the Lara and Yaracuy States, Venezuela.

I'm an Empretec Program Leader Facilitator, being Director for Venezuela of the World Program; I gave Empretec courses in several Venezuelan cities. I am also a Leader Facilitator with: ORT Venezuela, where he facilitated the workshops "Personal Entrepreneurial Characteristics" and "Small Entrepreneurs Training Workshop"; the Red Cross for training, business plans elaboration and development of entrepreneurial characteristics; Fundapyme for "Initiation to Entrepreneurship" and "Elaboration of Business Plans"; Banesco, Unibanca, Nena Drugstore, Sarriá Pharmacy, VIVAX Laboratories, for Intrepreneurship Seminars; for Seminar "Developing your Interpersonal Intelligence" in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic; Pastas Capri and Pepsi Cola for Seminar "Skills for the new sales model"; Frio Box company for design, development and realization of a sales management system; the Venezuela Junior Chamber for workshop "You can be an entrepreneur" . I also had been since 1977 Consultant and Facilitator at the TECNOPARQUE (Venezuela) in support to small and medium businesses.

I was Facilitator in the Fundayaracuy entrepreneurial development projects (Venezuela). I'm a Junior Chamber International Certified National Instructor (CNT) and I was Marketing Professor.

I represented Venezuela at International Meetings of Empretec Program Directors (UN) in Switzerland and Morocco. I attended the UNCTAD-SEBRAE "Training of Trainers" Empretec Seminar, Brazil; the Seminar "Jump Right In: Basic Training in an Entrepreneurial Approach" at the Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CEED) in Halifax, Canada; the Seminar "Export Managers" sponsored by Italian foreign trade institutes (Turin, Italy); international conferences, some organized by the Rotary Club, others by the Junior Chamber International, in USA, Panama, Guatemala, Aruba, Colombia and Puerto Rico where I chaired a work table on North-South Cooperation; and conferences of the American Society for Training & Development (ASTD) in Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando and New Orleans.

I'm member of the Venezuelan Economists Association; I was member of the Board of Directors of the Lara State Industrial Chamber (Venezuela), a founder and President of Fundei - Lara (Venezuela), Director of a Campaign against child paralysis, and Secretary of the Barquisimeto Rotary Club.

I was President of the Barquisimeto Junior Chamber, National Vice-president of the Venezuelan Junior Chamber, National Director for that Chamber's discussion theme "Energy, our worry", Director of that Chamber's Senate, and Mayor of Palavecino (Venezuela).

I'm a JCI Senator and received the Junior Chamber of Venezuela's Junior-of-the-Year Award, Young-Person-of-the-Year Award (Public Official category), Senator-of-the-Year Award; and the only class of the Merit Badge "City of Barquisimeto".
